About Delaware County Community College

Founded 1967

Delaware County Community College offers an attractive, safe and friendly environment with its wooded 123-acre campus and diverse student body. Students are known as individuals and receive personalized attention. DCCC offers state-of-the-art technology on campus. Flexible class schedules include accelerated courses, television courses and online courses. There is a wide variety of student clubs and sports activities on campus. The college is located in suburban Philadelphia, the sixth largest city in the country. Philadelphia is one of the nation's most historic and diverse areas and offers a variety of cultural and sports events, concerts, music, theater, museums, and shopping. Philadelphia International Airport is within 15 km of the college.

Arrival Dates and Start Dates

DCCC is on a semester system.  There are Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters. Students are expected to arrive prior to the start of classes to attend mandatory orientation sessions. Orientation starts on the following dates:

Summer ESL 2008:  June 2

Fall 2008:  August 22
