Moraine Valley is located in Palos Hills, Illinois, located just 20 kilometers from downtown Chicago, a beautiful big city in the U.S. which offers students the opportunity to enjoy museums, music, culture, business, financial, educational and recreational opportunities. Our convenient location is also just one hour from the states of Wisconsin, Indiana,and Michigan. Moraine Valley has a comprehensive modern campus with 8 buildings and excellent facilities surrounded by nature and connected by public transportation to the surrounding cities and Chicago. Moraine Valley's facilities include the Technology Center, Fine and Performing Arts Center, instructional buildings, Campus Life center, Library, internet cafe, restaurant, golf range, fitness center, gymnasium, tennis courts, soccer fields, running track and aerobics studio and more. The college's strong academic programs and exceptional support services help students to be successful in their studies and transfer to excellent univerisities. Arrival Dates and Start Dates
MVCC is on a semester system. There are Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters. Students are expected to arrive prior to the start of classes to attend mandatory orientation sessions. Classes start on the following dates:
Fall 2008: August 25 (Arrive August 14-16)
Spring 2009: January 12 (Arrive January 4-6)
Summer 2009: June 15 (Arrive June 4-6)
